Celery Sticks With Cheddar-Tomato-Onion Dressing

Celery! Celery! Celery! Chant with me!

I was so inspired by the article on celery and its benefits, I decided to make a low-calorie celery stick appetizer tonight. It is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, and I can’t stop eating it! I never realized celery could be so crunch and addictive, and this light cheddar cheese dressing that goes with it gives this appetizer a va-va-voom punch!

CELERY STICKS WITH CHEDDAR-TOMATO-ONION DRESSING (Serves 4 – 6)

Ingredients:

1) 1 bunch of celery
2) 200g of low-calorie cheddar cheese spread
3) 1 small onion
4) 1 tomato
5) 1 small red pepper

Steps:

1) Wash and cut the fresh celery into small sticks, removing the leaves
2) Chop onion, tomato and red pepper into small little cubes
3) In a bowl, pour the cheddar cheese spread, and mix in the onion, tomato and red pepper cubes
4) Mix the ingredients in step 3 well
5) In a serving plate, arrange celery sticks topped wtih the cheddar-tomato-onion dressing

Fresh celery:

Wash the celery, and cut into small sticks, removing the leaves:

Fresh onion, tomato and red pepper:

Chop the onion, tomato and red pepper into small cubes:

In a bowl, pour in the cheddar cheese spread:

Add in the cubed onion, tomato and red pepper:

Mix well to get this final dressing:
